Stretch Cord
When making my friendship bracelets, I found the elastic cord to be the best choice, instead of trying to double-tie fishing cord.
However, double-check that the width of the stretch cord will fit the beads you want! These options include both 1 mm and 0.8 mm and should work with (most of) the beads listed below!
Bead Board
While I didn’t use one when making my friendship bracelets, there were PLENTY of times I wished I had used one! So many beads went flying.

Taylor Swift’s first album came out in October 2006! I don’t know about you but I was only about 11 years old when her first album came out! I don’t think I’d heard too much about Taylor Swift yet but she was certainly growing her audience during that time.
Celebrating this era is nostalgic for so many fans, especially as we await her re-recording! If you are a long-time fan, you might remember teal / blue being the color for this era, even though it’s recently been rebranded to green. I’m a big fan of the Speak Now color since purple is my favorite! Speak Now was originally released on October 25, 2010, and then Speak Now (Taylor’s Version) was released on July 7, 2023. The Vault tracks for Speak Now (Taylor’s Version) are absolutely amazing! It was also very iconic of her to collaborate with Fall Out Boy and Hayley Williams on two of the Vault songs.

First released on October 22, 2012, Red was considered controversial at the time because the sound was not quite country and not quite pop. Looking back, we can see it was Taylor Swift’s transitional album to pop sounds.
Red (Taylor’s Version) was released on November 12, 2021, and included six Vault songs! The ten-minute version of All Too Well was played in our household on a loop for quite a few days after release.

1989 Era
Originally released on October 27, 2014, the 1989 album is endearingly called the “pop bible” by many. It’s one of my favorite albums, with so many fun beats. Also, the 1989 color and its pet animal – seagulls – have become such an iconic part of this era.
1989 (Taylor’s Version) was released on Oct. 27, 2023, and included five Vault songs. I’ve had the Vault songs on absolute repeat ever since they came out! I actually only played the second vinyl, side B for approximately five plays before I finally stopped myself so I wouldn’t unevenly scratch the vinyl (is that even a thing???).

Reputation Era
Taylor Swift’s Reputation album was originally released on November 10, 2017. The Taylor’s Version of the album hasn’t been released yet but it’s my most anticipated album. It’s my personal favorite with all the “bad bish” energy and overall dark energy – at least on the first few songs!

Another surprise album drop! Released on December 11, 2020, Evermore is considered a sister album to Folklore. As Taylor mentioned in an interview, she couldn’t stop writing songs after Folklore so she and her collaborators ended up with another album.
Evermore and Folklore have very similar vibes but Evermore features brown tones and plaid patterns on the cover that I included in the following bead options.

Midnights Era
Midnights is my favorite album so far. I just love the album’s sound and lyrics – I basically skip the least amount of songs on this album, even when I’m in a specific music mood. Released on October 21, 2022, it was the first vinyl I ever received and it’s 100% responsible for beginning Kyle and I’s vinyl collection!
