My Jewelry Collection… So far!
My jewelry collection has taken years to build up. Most of it are inexpensive pieces left over from my high school and college days, but there’s also new-to-me, secondhand pieces from recent years. There’s something fun about rocking jewelry with a little history! My current vibes for my jewelry collection is all about finding those secondhand gems with high quality metal and stones.

While it’s taking me years to grow my current collection, I can’t wait for the collection to evolve with my style as I get older!
Jewelry Collection Storage & Organization
For the longest time, I had a hodge-podge of boxes and empty bead boxes to hold all my jewelry. After accumulating a handful of expensive jewelry pieces (like my wedding ring!), I decided I needed to spend some coin on good storage options.
Stackers Jewelry Storage
After weeks of researching a variety of options (drawer storage, chests, back-of-door cases, etc.), I decided to go with the Stackers modular trays and drawers. You see, I expect my collection to grow over the years, but right now? It’s only a handful of items.
I didn’t want to buy a big storage item that would take up precious space in my apartment, like a standing chest. But I also couldn’t do drawer storage options because all my current drawers are FULL. After going through many options, I decided to go with the modular design because I have space for it on my current furniture but it still allows me to increase my collection in the future.
Stackers Jewelry Storage Trays
The best part of these jewelry trays is that they are modular! You can easily mix and match to get exactly the organization system you want.
As you can see below, there’s plenty of various storage tray options available across the internet. However, I specifically decided on the Stackers brand because 1) they have their own shopping website and 2) they have a collaboration with the Container Store. This means that I have access to both new designs (Stackers website) and easy access to some of their basic designs (local Container Store).
As I’ve also mentioned, I expect my storage needs to grow as my jewelry collection grows. By buying from Stackers, an established brand, I hope their styles will still be available into the future whenever I need to buy more. Future me will check in and let me know how this plan goes (please don’t let me down).
More Jewelry Storage Options
Although I decided to go with the Stackers brand, there are plenty of similar designs available on Amazon and other online stores. Below are a few designs that function similar to my storage organization.

Mixing Metals & Two-Tone Watches
Did anybody else read the Clique series when they were younger? In one of the earlier books, I remember Massie planning out her outfit and deciding that what it really needed was some mixed metals. That moment stuck with me and I guess influenced my love for wearing both silver and gold jewelry!
While a large majority of my jewelry is white gold or silver, there’s no way to deny that so many more items seem to be available in only a gold design. Which is why I finally accepted the reality that I’d be wearing both metals instead of just sticking to one.
Since I wear a watch daily, I decided that the best design for this kind of mixed metal lifestyle would be to find a two-tone watch that matched this constant metal switching. Fossil seems to have a great selection of silver and gold two-tone watches, including the silver and rose gold two-tone combination.
Two-Tone Watches from Fossil
While I have a preference for white gold jewelry, there’s something so fun about being able to mix metals.
One of my favorite ways to incorporate this two-tone vibe is by wearing a two-tone (silver & gold) watch.
Pearl Jewelry Collection
When my then-boyfriend and I were discussing marriage, I was very clear about wanting a pearl ring rather than a diamond ring. I have always found pearls to be a classic jewelry design. Specifically, I love the look of Tahitian (or black) pearls.
Tahitian Pearl Engagement Ring
If there was one thing that came out right from our engagement / wedding, it was this ring set.
Even to this day, people are always complimenting my ring! The Tahitian pearl gives the ring the wow factor, though the diamond halo certainly helps.
My engagement ring was everything I could’ve hoped for! And from then on, my pearl jewelry collection has continued to grow. Now, I dabble in both the classic white pearl and black pearls.
Many department stores provide tons of pearl jewelry options, from classic designs to more modern twists. Target is continually a favorite place of mine to see their pearl jewelry options. Another place with great pearl jewelry options is Nordstrom. If you’re looking for fine jewelry, American Pearl has some gorgeous, classic designs of pearl jewelry.

Vintage Jewelry Collection
Shopping for vintage jewelry can sometimes be more fun than simply hitting “buy now” on an online store. There’s a search and process involved, especially at estate sales. Of course, you can also buy vintage pieces online (one of my favorite things to do).
The best part about seeking out vintage pieces is that you can usually get better quality (whether gold or stones) at a lower price. Many vintage jewelry sellers tend to have an Instagram shop or website where you can shop.
These are a few of my favorite places to visit:
- www.manorjewels.com – they specialize in onyx pieces but all their styles are delicious!
- www.boylerpf.com – another vintage jewelry, including a YouTube channel where they post shorts
Everyday Jewelry
For a lot of my day-to-day jewelry, the designs are usually simple. Think “Sophia Richie”, “quiet luxury” vibes. I hate layering necklaces and I still need to schedule my second piercings, so I try to keep things as simple as possible. Plus, when I’m getting ready for work or school, I don’t want to think about whether things match. I want to put on my accessories and go!
